Bay Day
Join us on October 20th for Bay Day to benefit Miami Waterkeeper! This is a Waterkeeper Alliance SPLASH series event and is present nationally by Toyota.
Miami Waterkeeper will be hosting our fourth annual "Bay Day" at Shake-a-Leg's waterfront marina in Coconut Grove as its signature event for 2018, bringing the community together to appreciate the beauty of Biscayne Bay.

Keeping you informed and safe
This summer, the Florida Department of Health’s Healthy Beaches Program has issued more than a dozen swimming advisories for popular beaches after finding unsafe levels of bacteria often associated with sewage. Reaching its peak this month, swim advisories were simultaneously in effect for eight Miami-Dade beaches.
We believe that beachgoers should know whether it is safe to swim at their favorite beaches. That’s why we update daily a free app called Swim Guide, which displays the latest Healthy Beaches Program testing data in real-time in an easy-to-use format. Download it today.
We also believe that there’s not enough sewage bacteria monitoring in Biscayne Bay, so we’re doing it ourselves! This program is launching at 5 sites in Biscayne Bay next month. You’ll see our results on Swim Guide soon.
