Microplastic Cleanup Event

Join Miami Waterkeeper for a hands-on cleanup at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove and help protect our local waterways! Microplastics—plastic fragments smaller than 5mm—pose a serious threat to marine ecosystems and wildlife. This is your chance to make a real, visible difference in your community while learning about the environmental impact of these harmful pollutants.

Event Details:

• Time: 10:00AM-12:00 PM (check-in opens 30 minutes prior)
• Location: Peacock Park - 2820 McFarlane Rd, Miami, FL 33133
• What to Bring:
  • Refillable water bottle
  • REQUIRED: Closed-toe shoes
  • RECOMMENDED: Long-sleeved shirts and pants (that can get wet), hat, towel, sunblock, and insect repellent, personal gloves (Miami Waterkeeper will provide gloves if needed).
