Bay Drift: Drift Card Release

The Bay Drift Study is investigating how the currents in Biscayne Bay move so that we can better predict how trash and other pollutants are transported. We will be releasing our drift cards promptly at 10:45 at Miami Circle Park right next to the Icon in Brickell. Make sure you arrive 15-20 minutes early so you can find parking and meet us at the Miami Circle. Vizcaya BioBlitz

Join Vizcaya and Miami Waterkeeper Friday & Saturday for a family-friendly BioBlitz to catalogue the biodiversity at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Learn techniques for exploring, observing, and collecting data. We will be using the iNaturalist app (though it’s not required to participate). Free with museum admission. No tickets necessary.
March for Science & Expo

The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest. Join Miami Waterkeeper at the March for Science Expo and learn about what we’re doing to ensure science-based policy for our water in South Florida. This event is free, but RSVP here.
Soundwaves Concert – Earth Day Celebration

Join Miami Waterkeeper at the Rickenbacker Marina in celebrating Earth Day at Soundwaves: an Earth Day Jam! Spend the day on Virginia Key getting wavy with live performances by local heavy-hitters like Colombian-reggae fusion legends, Locos Por Juana, and enjoy more sets by local favorites like Soulixer, Agape, and Dj NHM aka Nadia Harris. Party into the sunset with handmade drinks and craft beers, local grub infused with surf-style flavors, and the best kind of bayside vibes!
