Day on the Bay
Miami Waterkeeper hosts periodic “Day on the Bay” tours. These 3-hour boat trips around Biscayne Bay highlight experiential learning and bring experts together to understand and collaborate on problem-solving for our waterways. The goal of the program is to educate community leaders and elected officials about the importance of water quality in Biscayne Bay and to empower decision making to benefit the community. Past tours have brought together leaders from state and local governments, the Coast Guard, universities, Whole Foods, Microsoft, the Miami Fellows, NOAA, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and more.
