Camilla is currently an undergraduate student at FIU getting a B.S in marine biology. She transferred from the University of Arizona where she studied environmental science, focusing on wildlife conservation, education, and policy. She was interested in learning how the Sea of Cortez influences the dynamics of the Sonoran desert’s ecosystem, and how closely one depends on the other. She wants to continue learning more about marine ecosystem dynamics and the anthropogenic influence on its balance.
