Venetian Marina Settlement Statement

As part of a settlement agreement, Venetian Marina has committed to improve public benefit and
Biscayne Bay mitigation for its marina expansion project, including but not limited to:

(i) providing an additional 71% seagrass mitigation via dredge-hole filling;
(ii) contributing to Biscayne Bay water quality and habitat improvement projects;
(iii) removing nearshore slips to provide on-site seagrass mitigation;
(iii) ensuring permanent public baywalk access;
(iv) providing increased bay access via kayak and paddle board launch;
(iv) providing free-of-charge sewage pump out stations for the public;
(v) eliminating all temporary dockage to extend the marina for the Miami Boat Show or for any other uses.
