Florida's waterways, wildlife, and communities are under threat from the ESA Amendments Act of 2025 (HR 1897).
These amendments would override two federal court rulings and give legal force to Florida's Section 404 wetlands permitting program, a program courts already found illegal for failing to protect endangered species in one of the most biodiverse states in the nation
We refuse to let Congress rubber-stamp an illegal program that puts the Florida Panther, our wetlands, and our drinking water at risk.
Take action today: send a message or call your House representative and demand they oppose the ESA Amendments Act of 2025 (HR 1897) or any other attempts to codify Florida’s illegal Clean Water Act 404 dredge and fill program, such as including “Maintaining Cooperative Permitting Act of 2025” in other legislation.
