Miami Waterkeeper is proud to partner with The International SeaKeepers Society to offer our first public volunteer snorkel clean-up event hosted by Sea Experience! Volunteers will "dive-in" to conduct a marine debris clean-up and Citizen Science Fish ID blitz (optional).
Fee: $40 per person for a 3 hour snorkel clean-up. Registration fee includes mask, snorkel, fins, water, light snacks, and a Miami Waterkeeper/SeaKeeper's staff guide. Registration fees are due in order to RSVP and refunds will not be issued for no-shows.
Volunteer Day Main Tasks:
- Removal of marine debris from the water and fish ID blitz
This volunteer event may require heavy lifting and experience with snorkeling (must be very comfortable in the ocean), hence teenagers and older groups are recommended. If younger age groups participate, they should be monitored at all times by the designated guardian, parents, etc. *Community Service hours also provided*
