Join us for a captivating walking tour of Historic Overtown, Miami's iconic Black neighborhood. As we take in scenic views along our route, our knowledgeable guides will highlight the people, places, music, and stories that have defined Overtown's rich history and culture.
We're thrilled to offer this dual history and cleanup tour on February 10th, starting at the iconic Lyric Theater (819 NW 2nd Ave) at 2:00 pm (ends around 5pm). We welcome donations for the Black Police Museum and hope you'll join us in celebrating Overtown's living history! With cultural landmarks, impactful stories, and community pride on full display, you'll come away with a deeper understanding of what makes this neighborhood so special. We can't wait to see you there!
