  • Rally your friends, family, and network to support Miami Waterkeeper by creating your own Give Miami Day fundraising profile.

  • Tell us why you support Miami Waterkeeper! Send a short video to [email protected] explaining why you’re supporting Miami Waterkeeper on Give Miami Day for a chance to be featured on our social media pages!

Advocacy Updates

  • We need your voice! Let the EPA know that you oppose FDEP’s attempt to streamline the destruction of wetlands by assuming Clean Water Act Section 404 authority. Click here to learn more and send an email to the EPA! The deadline to submit comments is today, November 2.

  • Our Water Quality program is expanding! Click here to read about the new sites Miami Waterkeeper will be testing in Fort Lauderdale.

  • A first step for fertilizer! The Miami Dade County Commission unanimously approved an ordinance sponsored by Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava and Commissioner Eileen Higgins on first reading that addresses nutrient pollution from fertilizers.   • Water Win! The City of Miami Commission passed an ordinance sponsored by Commissioner Ken Russell that would increase the city’s ability to respond quickly to construction site runoff and pollution that could harm our waterways and Bay. Read more here.
