Microplastic Cleanup Event

Join Forces with Miami Waterkeeper at David T. Kennedy Park! Microplastics—plastic fragments smaller than 5mm—pose a significant threat to marine ecosystems and wildlife. This is your chance to make a direct impact while learning about the environmental importance of removing these harmful pollutants.

Event Details:

  • Time: 9:30 AM-11:30 AM (check-in opens 30 minutes prior)
  • Location: David T. Kennedy Park, 2400 South Bayshore Drive, Miami, Florida 33133
  • What to Bring:
    • Refillable water bottle
    • REQUIRED: Closed-toe shoes
    • RECOMMENDED: Long-sleeved shirts and pants (that can get wet), hat, sunblock, and insect repellent, personal gloves (Miami Waterkeeper will provide gloves if needed).
