Delivered: June 8, 2017
Today, as we celebrate World Oceans Day, we invite you to support your Miami Waterkeeper and help to restore Our Oceans, Our Future. This year’s global focus is on plastic pollution prevention and cleaning the ocean of marine litter. Your support is invaluable to our local efforts to protect our oceans and ensure swimmable, drinkable, fishable water for all of us.
With your help, Miami Waterkeeper fights for clean water and protects our marine life and habitats using a powerful combination of scientific research, educational outreach, and legal action. We are engaged in extensive efforts to protect Florida’s coral reefs and to improve our bay's health. Just last month, with the commitment of friends like you, Miami Waterkeeper helped to pass the first plastic ban in Florida in Coral Gables. And it's just the beginning of what we hope will be many more!
Together, we are making great progress. Please join us in the fight to do more, and protect our oceans.
Your gift on World Oceans Day makes an impact every day. Thank you!
Best wishes,
