The Invading Sea, Florida's dedicated climate journalism outlet, published a stark account of what the Port Everglades dredge proposal actually entails: 400 underwater acres dredged, with explosives detonated potentially more than 200 days a year over five years. NOAA scientists called the Corps' own environmental analysis "unintelligible" and riddled with "significant factual and analytical flaws." Earthjustice attorney Danika Desai, a key partner in our coalition, makes the case for why this project must be stopped.
