Samantha Barquin is Miami Waterkeeper's Chief of Staff. She joined Miami Waterkeeper as a program and water quality intern in May of 2020 and has previously worn several hats in the organization as an Environmental Technician and Science and Policy Project Manager. Samantha leads and provides input on inter-departmental projects and campaigns throughout the organization.
Before joining MWK, Samantha earned her Professional Science Masters's in Environmental Policy and Management at Florida International University (FIU) in 2020. She also received her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences in 2018 at FIU.
