The NRC Can Improve on Environmental Justice

To address disproportionate adverse social, economic, and environmental impacts on disadvantaged communities, the Biden Administration directed that agencies make environmental justice part of their missions. On July 9, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) opened a public comment period to review how the agency addresses environmental justice. Now, you have the opportunity to impact how the federal government includes environmental justice in its programs, policies, and activities.
