Miami-Dade County Budget: Tell Commissioners to Pass It to Put Sustainability First!

The County budget is a reflection of our values and our priorities. It lays out the level of services that the County can provide to our community in the coming year.

The proposed budget for the upcoming year invests in projects that help clean up Biscayne Bay and prepare Miami-Dade County for a resilient future.  Mayor Levine Cava has prioritized in this budget:

  • Funding for septic-to-sewer transition.
  • Funding for the critically important Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program.
  • Funding for implementing the County’s Sea Level Rise Strategy.
  • Funding to develop and implement a One Water Strategy.
  • Funding for protecting Biscayne Bay, its waterways, and the Biscayne Aquifer, which is the sole source of our drinking water.

Email the commissioners today and tell them to approve the proposed budget because the environment is a priority in our community and our budget should reflect this shared value. This only takes two clicks on the form below!
