Tell Miami-Dade County: Put Sustainability First!
FY 2021-2022 County Budget
Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is presenting her budget request to the County Commissioners. Our County budget is a direct reflection of our priorities as a community. There are a lot of important issues deserving funding, and we’re asking you to take action to let the Board of County Commissioners know that you want a resilient and sustainable Miami-Dade County!
Make Your Voice Heard
Now is your chance to tell the Commission what matters most to you. There are two ways to take action and make this happen – you can enter your information and push the "send email" button at the bottom of this page and/or you can come in-person to the County Budget Hearing on September 14th to give a 2-minute public comment (details below).
County Commission Budget Hearing
The Board of County Commissioners will convene on the budget on September 14th at 5 pm. You can make a 2-minute public comment before the board. Just show up at Commission Chambers, 111 NW 1st Street and fill out a speaker card. They will call your name to give your comment before the board. Start by giving your name and address and then you can use our talking points listed below as a guide for your comments or add your own concerns and priorities that you'd like to see the County fund.
