A plan to increase the supply of single family homes in Miami-Dade is raising alarms

This resolution would, in essence, force moving the Urban Development Boundary. The Urban Development Boundary is a crucial planning tool that protects our drinking water, it protects the Everglades, it protects Biscayne Bay, and it ensures that we are not overdeveloping and creating too much density without enough green space or the infrastructure to support it.
