The Miami we know and love depends on clean water. We are proud of the work we do every day and the way you, the community, have stepped up to fight for Miami’s clean water future. There is no Miami without our beaches, biodiverse marine ecosystems, the Everglades, and Biscayne Bay.
Over the last ten years, we have combined education, research, and advocacy to create change and empower community members to fight for their right to clean water. To celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we created a 3-part docuseries called Waves of Change exploring the past, present, and future of Miami’s relationship with its water. Keeping our water safe for swimming, drinking, and fishing is going to require our continued commitment and vigilance.
We encourage you to enjoy our wide-ranging docuseries, and if you’d like to bring Waves of Change into your classroom, we have provided comprehensive lesson plans for each episode complete with discussion questions, activities, and student projects.
Miami Waterkeeper depends on your support. We’re right there with you, fighting for Miami’s clean water for the next ten years and beyond.
