Laura del Mar Cruz is Miami Waterkeeper's Education and Outreach Coordinator, assisting with the coordination and facilitation of all education and community engagement programs.
Laura del Mar Cruz is originally from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She moved to Miami in 2021, where she obtained her Master of Professional Science in Marine Conservation at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Sciences. Her passion lies in understanding marine and terrestrial ecosystems and developing bilingual educational content. Laura joined Miami Waterkeeper as our new Education and Outreach Coordinator and is excited to grow and strengthen our Education and Outreach initiatives!
