Pratima Rosen
Prati is a current undergraduate student at the University of Miami where she is pursuing a B.S. in Marine Science & Biology.

Prati is an undergraduate at the University of Miami and is on the path to getting her BS in Marine Science/Biology. Prati discovered her love for the ocean at a young age, when she observed the majestic underwater world on her first snorkeling trip in Florida. Growing up in Rockland County, New York, Prati became a chief ambassador with the New York Hudson Valley Waterkeeper Organization to help promote the protection of NY waterways. To further her advancement in the field, she was able to land an internship, in high school, working with in a marine biology lab in VA, studying coral resilience to heat stress. Currently, she is a freshman working in Dr. Andrew Baker's lab, at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, where she will further study coral resilience. Prati is also thrilled to be a part of Miami Waterkeeper in making positive and substantial environmental changes to the Miami community.
