Yoga Marine Debris Clean-up

Join us for a unique community event that combines wellness, wildlife conservation, and environmental action! This special collaboration with Ambassador Heidi Ronquillo from Amigos de las Tortugas brings together yoga and ocean conservation in a meaningful way for the Miami community.

Event Highlights:

• Ocean-Themed Yoga Session - All levels welcome for a rejuvenating practice inspired by the sea
• Hands-On Turtle Care Station - Learn about marine conservation using turtle models through naming, weighing, and health inspection demonstrations
• Marine Debris Clean-up - Take direct action to protect our coastal waters and marine ecosystems

This free, public event will be conducted in Spanish and English, creating an inclusive space for our diverse Miami community to connect with nature and each other. Whether you're experienced with yoga or new to environmental advocacy, this event offers meaningful ways to engage, learn, and make a positive impact on our ocean environment.

Come ready to stretch, learn, and help protect the marine life that calls our waters home.

What to Bring

Please arrive 15 minutes early - the yoga session begins promptly at 9:30 AM!

Essential Items:

• Yoga mat
• Refillable water bottle (stay hydrated for outdoor activities!)
• Closed-toe shoes (required) and long-sleeved shirts (recommended for clean-up)
• Hat, sunblock, and insect repellent (recommended)
• Comfortable gloves for clean-up work (or we'll provide them)

Free and open to the public. Service hours will be provided.
