Tyler Mominey is Miami Waterkeeper's Education and Outreach Coordinator, facilitating educational and community engagement activities. A South Florida native, Tyler has a passion for Florida's watershed that runs through his blood. He takes a multi-faceted, humanistic approach to conservation, leveraging his background in both the public and private sectors.
Tyler earned his bachelor's degree in environmental studies from the University of Central Florida and has developed his experience through roles at the Walt Disney Company and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Tyler is also an avid photographer and can frequently be found with either a camera or a dive mask in his hand.
