Miami Waterkeeper is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about our mission and desires to support our clean water goals. The Marketing Manager will develop, in coordination with the Director of Advancement & Donor Impact, a comprehensive outreach strategy to advance the mission of Miami Waterkeeper. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing the strategy and telling the story of Miami’s waterways and the organization. This individual should be well-versed in all aspects of content creation, including graphic design, video production, and social media platform management. The Marketing Manager will manage our website and produce short, written content for the organization in the form of newsletters, blogs, and social media captions. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and growing digital media analytics, offering suggestions on how to maximize digital platforms and automate processes whenever possible, and supporting other areas of MWK's operations (development, science and research, policy and legal advocacy, and education and outreach) to promote MWK’s work and impact while ensuring consistent messaging and branding throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop an organizational marketing strategy in collaboration with the Director of Advancement & Donor Impact to maximize reach
- Lead implementation of action plans to execute the marketing strategy
- Monitor progress and effectiveness of marketing strategy

Lead development of all ongoing marketing and other communication efforts
- Maintain MWK website with current and accurate content
- Develop content and other needed materials for website blog
- Grow social media followers via targeted social media campaigns
- Develop and send monthly newsletters

Create and manage new and existing content
- Create content to increase storytelling throughout the organization via video production, event recaps, and social media campaigns
- Assist in social media ad purchasing
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with other MWK departments to advance the mission of the organization
- Assist with database management, including inputting new constituents and generating targeted outreach lists
- Develop and implement a system of digital content management
- Grow content library with raw material and completed projects
- Ensure consistent and proper use of MWK's brand guidelines
- Collect digital media content at MWK events, which may include nights and weekends
- Develop a strong familiarity with the organization and its program-related activities
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional marketing experience
- Demonstrable experience in marketing, with hands-on practice in social media management, copywriting, graphic design, branding, video production and editing, data analytics, and on-time project management
- Automation experience a plus
- Coding experience a plus
- Non-profit experience a plus
- Spanish fluency a plus
SALARY RANGE
$50,000-$65,000
