Gabe was born in Richmond, Virginia where he grew up fishing and boating, allowing him to gain a greater appreciation for marine life. Upon obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science at the University of South Carolina in 2016, Gabe spent time as a fishery observer and an animal care technician. However, his passion for the marine environment drove him to return to school so he could become closer to reaching his goal of working on projects that focus on restoring and conserving degraded coastal habitats and marine species.
