Hey everyone! My name is Collin and I will be participating in this years Miami Marathon, but in a very unique way. My organization is partnering with a man named Andrew Ortazo who has removed 8,000 pounds of trash from Miami's mangroves. During the last Miami Marathon he walked it with 30 pounds of this trash on his back. This year, my team at Miami Waterkeeper will be helping him push a cart made from 100 pounds of mangrove trash. Fun twist, the cart will have a keg in it! So come out and support/ have fun with us!
Anyone who knows would be able to tell you how dedicated I am to preserving the coastal habitats around the world. This passion mixed with my love for marathon running has pushed me to start this fundraiser! Please give what you can and support Andrew Otazo and Miami Waterkeeper's shared goal of keeping South Florida's water swimmable, drinkable, and fishable for all.
