Devika Kaul
Devika attended the University of Miami and recently graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Ecosystem Science and Policy.

Devika attended the University of Miami and recently graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Ecosystem Science and Policy. As an undergraduate, she was president of the Earth Alert student organization and interned in D.C. at the Council on Environmental Quality. She enjoyed researching ocean acidification and coral bleaching at RSMAS and working on UM’s Net Zero wastewater research project. Devika studied abroad in the Galapagos Islands where she had the unique opportunity to conduct field research and study tropical biology.

Devika has had a love for all things nature ever since an early age. She grew up in Long Island, NY and spent her summers working on conservation projects in California and South America. She loves being out on the water and enjoys scuba diving, kayaking and traveling. She is excited to be working with Miami Waterkeeper and is passionate about protecting South Florida’s waters! Devika plans to continue her education and pursue a career in international conservation.
