Christina joined Miami Waterkeeper in July 2021. She has over 23 years of grant proposal writing experience, working for numerous nonprofit organizations in Miami-Dade County to help them secure the funding they need to fulfill their missions.

Christina graduated from the University of Miami School of Communication with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and English Literature. She is passionate about protecting the environment, climate change reform, is a committed recycler, and is vegan for the animals and planet. She comes from a family of avid boaters, kayakers, and fishermen. Outside of work, Christina enjoys writing stories and songs, gardening, swimming, and rescuing animals.
