Cameron Bills is a NYU Public Interest Law Center Fellow working jointly with Miami Waterkeeper and Everglades Law Center. She is passionate about environmental justice and enjoys metal detecting in her free time.

Cameron Bills is a NYU Public Interest Law Center Fellow working jointly with Miami Waterkeeper and Everglades Law Center. She is passionate about environmental justice and enjoys metal detecting in her free time.


During law school, Cameron conducted legal research for a campaign to improve Miami's stormwater management systems during an externship with Miami Waterkeeper and Everglades Law Center. She completed a legal clerkship with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and a clinic with the Natural Resources Defense Council. She also interned with Sierra Club’s clean energy advocacy team and served as a submissions editor on NYU’s Environmental Law Journal.


Cameron received a B.A. from Columbia University where she graduated magna cum laude and a J.D. from NYU School of Law where she graduated cum laude.
