1,000 Eyes on the Water Training
Join Miami Waterkeeper, Ruka Winewood, and Sol to Soul Swim for an engaging 1,000 Eyes on the Water Training! At this unique event, you'll learn about pollution in South Florida waterways while upcycling a wine bottle through painting.
Following the training, we're excited to host a paint activity with light bites in collaboration with Sol to Soul. This is your chance to relax, network, and discover how you can contribute to protecting South Florida's vital waterways.

About 1,000 Eyes on the Water Program
Our 1,000 Eyes on the Water program is a volunteer-based, community-led pollution detection and reporting program designed to increase Miami Waterkeeper's ability to monitor the Bay and waterways of South Florida.
Why Join?
Have you ever seen something on or near the water that didn't look quite right? Maybe you wanted to report a possible pollution incident, but didn't know how to describe it, who to report it to, or if it warranted a report.
Knowing what pollution issues are common in South Florida and how to look for them can be challenging. Knowing who to call when you see an incident can also be a burden.
What You'll Learn
Our 1,000 Eyes on the Water program trains you to be a champion for your waterways by teaching you how to:
- Observe pollution
- Document incidents in our reporting page
- Report pollution that you might see while going about your daily life
Join the hundreds of people who have already joined Miami Waterkeeper in their eyes on the water!
